: Healthy Mom Mantra:
Eat healthier!
Just add veggies and fruits to meals and cut back on treats
Take time for your self
Be active everyday
Resolution #1 The buddy system
Grab a friend or spouse to join you on your health kick. They will help motivate you and hold you accountable. You will be 75% more likely to stick with a healthy routine if you are not doing it alone.
Resolution #2 Just breathe
Pregnancy and motherhood test every last ounce of your patience. So the next time you feel your hormones running away or your patience running thin, take a time out.
Read a chapter in your book, grab a mag, go for a quick stroll around the block, or just step outside to get some fresh air. This will help you maintain composure and keep you smiling. (most of time)

Resolution #3 The follow through
Set achievable goals. Nothing is more deterring then impossible feats we create for ourselves. Make goals that have realistic timelines. Once achieved, you will build confidence, equaling results. An example: So you’re getting back on a workout routine to tone and (post moms) to get your body back. Make your goal simple: getting a workout in 1-3 times a week. Then go from there.
